Green Tea Ice Cream


Green Tea Ice Cream

Ingredients:
3 tablespoon matcha powder
6 egg yolks
200ml whip cream
100g icing sugar
2 cups of milk (room temperature)

Steps:

1) Sift green tea powder.
2) Place green tea powder into milk and stir
     till dissolved.
3) Pour 100ml whip cream into mixture
     stir thoroughly.
4) Pour mixture into saucepan and bring
     to a slow simmer. Do not boil the    
     mixture. Once you see that it is boiling,
     off the fire.
5) Beat the yolks. Add sugar n mix.
6) Add the other 100ml of whip cream and
     mix.
7) Slowly pour in the warm milk mixture
     into the yolk mixture. Bring combined
     mixture to a boil. Stir mixture
     constantly over medium heat.
8) You will know it is done when u place a
     wooden spoon into mixture, you can
     draw a clean line on it.
9) Cool the thickened ice mixture over ice
     water and refrigerate it for at least 3 hrs
     before you churn it in the ice cream    
     maker. If you wish to have a thicker
     texture, chill it at longer into the freezer.
